El Farallon, Punta Mita

Punta Mita occupies the northern headland of Banderas Bay, forty-five minutes up the coast from Puerto Vallarta, and El Farallon is its cliff edge. Humpbacks pass through from December to March and can be watched from the terrace rather than a boat. La Lancha and El Anclote are the local surf breaks, Sayulita is twenty minutes north, and two Jack Nicklaus golf courses sit on the peninsula.
