The Rivarama is Riva at its most recognisable: a full mahogany-clad deck, chrome detailing, and the open profile that twice earned the model Best European Open in the 40-to-60-foot class. Built by the Ferretti Group at roughly 13.4 metres, she is understood to run to 38 knots comfortably, with the model believed capable of 40 to 41 knots in the right conditions. Below is a single master cabin and head, but no one charters a Riva for the interior. This is the boat you take when the arrival matters as much as the day: she turns heads at anchor off Positano and photographs like nothing else on the coast. A captain and a hostess run the day so guests never lift a line.

The Route

From Salerno the Rivarama runs west along the most photographed stretch of coastline in Italy. Slow past Positano for the classic vertical-village view, anchor near the Li Galli islands for a swim, and drift under the cliffs by the Emerald Grotto. Amalfi and Nerano are easy lunch stops, and on a settled day the captain can cross to Capri. The route is set by the morning conditions, with the hostess handling drinks and shade throughout.

On the Water

The day is paced around swimming and sunbathing. Anchor off the Li Galli islands or under the Emerald Grotto cliffs, snorkel in the clear water, and return to the teak deck between stops. A sun shade covers the cockpit at anchor, towels are aboard, and dry snacks and soft drinks are included, with the hostess serving through the day. Guests are welcome to bring their own food and wine.

Boarding & Transfers

A private Mercedes minivan transfer to and from the marina is included. Boarding is at Salerno Marina d'Arechi, with Cetara or Minori available as alternative departure points on request. Every charter runs with a licensed captain and a hostess. Two units, one in cream and one in chocolate, may be available depending on the date.
