La Madera is the beach the villa sits on; La Ropa, the long crescent with the palapa lunches, is two hundred metres further. The town centre and the morning fish market are a walk along the waterfront.

Take the water taxi to Playa Las Gatas for the snorkelling and the ceviche rather than driving to it, which everyone agrees is the better way round. The fish market in the morning is the real thing.
